Steak Frites

Six years ago in October of 2007, after a delightful day at the antique market and chocolat chaud at Angelina, we were wandering the streets of Paris, looking for the perfect steak frites... and we found it at Rue Montmartre around midnight...

Inspired by that encounter, we endeavored to recreate the moment that we've come to savor... and here's the result... enjoy...

Have you seen the documentary, "Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead"?
Like many, I was inspired to juice...  here is my first attempt at making the "Mean Green Juice" on the Breville BJE200XL Juice Fountain Compact:

Ingredients:
6 Kale Leaves
1 Cucumber
4 Celery Stalks
2 Green Apples
1/2 Lemon
1 Piece of Ginger

Serving Size: About 24 oz.
Cost: About $3 per serving (NY area)
Note: Kale flies everywhere!
