Red Hook Food Vendors

While Y. E. Yang was busy beating Tiger Woods at the PGA Championship, we were busy reminiscing about our Mexico trip last year and how much we enjoyed the local cuisine there. This brought us to the "Red Hook Vendors" where we enjoyed authentic tacos, pupusas, and every other kind of pan-latino cuisine you could imagine -- as we cheered on local fĂștbol (soccer) teams.

  • drive a 6.2 liter, 457-hp Mercedes = $0

  • pick up kimchi at a local Korean store = $2.95
  • make tasty "kimchi bok-um-bop" for dinner = $0 (recipe here)
  • romantic tv dinner while watching free movies from the library = $0
